No-Bake Peanut Butter Protein Oatmeal Balls

Method

  1. Add the peanut butter and honey to a large bowl and stir until smooth. Warm it for 15 seconds in the microwave if it’s stiff.

  2. Add the oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Pour in 2 tablespoons of milk and stir. Squeeze a bit in your hand. If it crumbles, add another tablespoon.

  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  5. Cover the bowl and chill for 30 minutes.

  6. Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of mixture at a time and roll between your palms into a ball.

  7. Place on a plate or tray. Repeat until you have 16 balls.

  8. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Chef's tip

Double the batch and freeze half on a tray before bagging. Pull out two the night before and they’re ready for the next day’s snack, or toss one in your bag straight from the freezer and it’ll thaw by mid-morning.
